These products should come with a pendant to be worn at all times away from the base station and also have a source of back up power, should there be a power failure. They all come standard with 9-1-1 emergency response with the push of a button and some allow you to program more numbers into the phone.
For those who are visually impaired, make sure if you purchase one of these devices that they have large unit and different sized buttons.
